EcoPlate AI Limited (惜源智能科技有限公司) ("EcoPlate", "we", "us") operates the website ecoplate.ai and the EcoPlate AI platform for restaurant food waste analytics.

1. Data we collect

• Restaurant business information (name, contact, menu, ingredients)
• Sales and operational data you provide via WhatsApp, API, or CSV
• Photos of shelves or kitchens uploaded for inventory analysis
• Contact details when you email us or join a pilot programme

2. How we use data

• Generate demand forecasts and waste-reduction recommendations
• Produce ESG and operational reports for your restaurant
• Improve our models and service quality
• Respond to support and pilot enquiries

3. Data retention

Raw photos are retained only for the period needed for analysis (typically up to 30 days), then deleted in line with our privacy-by-design approach and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We use service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, messaging providers) strictly to operate the platform. Each restaurant's data is isolated from other tenants.
